Olivia C. Allen was 9 years old when she shared those words with her mother. And it was those words that started her on the path of giving back to her community. Since that time, Olivia has conducted collection drives and service projects to support needy and deserving children in and around her hometown. It was during one of those events that she recognized the need for girls her age to be more confident and outgoing. She wanted to doing something to help, and the I Can Be Girls Confidence Conference (TM) was born.
A true example of what it means to be a resident of "Compassion City," Olivia believes it is very important that the conference is available to all who wants to attend. She also wants to teach the concepts of service learning, giving back and help others, so each year there is an element of service as a part of the conference. All in all, the conference is designed to teach little girls to have big dreams and to go after them with everything they've got.
